Gloria Chang Yip is an Executive Director and Banker in J.P. Morgan’s Los Angeles Private Bank. She brings over sixteen years of experience in senior management marketing and strategy roles with a focus on consumer, luxury and retail segments. She is responsible for developing and managing client relationships and delivering holistic solutions across investment management, lending, wealth planning, trust and estate planning and charitable giving.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Gloria worked at Cartier for nine years, where she held various roles, including leading the Jewelry group and being responsible for client development strategy across the firm’s high net worth portfolio. She has worked both domestically and in Asia for Cartier, PepsiCo and Procter and Gamble. In her early career, Gloria was an investment banking analyst for Merrill Lynch in the Global Energy and Power group and also in the Equity Capital Markets desk in Calgary and Toronto, Canada.
Gloria is a Chartered Financial Analyst holder and member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles. She has a Masters in Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelors of Commerce from the Sauder School, University of British Columbia.
Gloria grew up in Vancouver, Canada but has also spent seven years living internationally in Shanghai, China. She is fluent in 5 languages including Mandarin, Cantonese and Shanghainese. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, food and fitness. She currently resides in west Los Angeles with her husband and two young children.
